ABOUT RABBI TANI

Rabbi Tani Prero

Tani Prero is director of Camp Yagilu, group facilitator, wilderness therapist, hike leader, and musician. Rabbi Tani loves leading groups in games, on hikes, and in discussions. As an avid outdoorsman and super-friendly people person, Rabbi Tani inspires teenagers and adults to succeed using a personalized approach and exciting challenges. As a certified wilderness therapist and master teambuilding facilitator, Rabbi Tani knows how to make people feel comfortable in the outdoors, and uses games and other exercises to help them learn the skills that match their unique capabilities. Beyond facilitating games and exercises, Rabbi Tani facilitates relationships, helping campers, teammates, students and co-workers work together more effectively and learn to smooth out their differences. Rabbi Tani is also a captivating speaker whose presentations are dynamic, funny, interesting and engaging.

 

Rabbi Tani Prero earned smicha from Yeshiva University, a Master’s degree in Education from Loyola University of Chicago, as well as certification as Wilderness Adventure Therapist from Seminar HaKibutzim (the Kibbutz College) in Israel. Rabbi Tani also trained in Wilderness Survival for an intensive two months in the hills surrounding Tzfat. He lives with his wife and children in Israel.
